Drifting basics in Neon Drift Circuit

May 11, 2026 · Lena Vasnetsová

Neon Drift Circuit clicked for me the moment I stopped treating drifts as emergencies and started planning them. If you're spinning out on the tighter tracks, a few small habits help a lot.

First, switch to on-screen steering if you're using tilt. Tilt looks cool but it's harder to be precise, and precision is everything once the corners tighten up in the later circuits.

Second, start your drift earlier than feels natural. The game rewards long, committed slides, and tapping the button late leaves you fighting the wall. Ease in before the apex and let the car settle.

Finally, chase chains, not raw speed. Linking drifts through a series of corners builds up more than flooring it down a straight ever will. Once I started thinking in chains, my times dropped and the whole game got more fun.
